I had the great pleasure of playing for the Penn State Men’s Volleyball Team from 1989-1993 and then serving as an Assistant Coach for the Penn State Women’s Volleyball Team from 1994-2006. I had a chance to work with some great coaches and great players during my time at Penn State and still maintain a close relationship with the staff and players there. I also have a large network of coaching friends across the country that will be great resources for the club. I stepped down from my coaching position to spend more time with my family. I am looking forward to working with younger players and developing their potential as volleyball players and as young people. I will be in charge of player development and coach development. Mike has a beautiful wife, Sarah, and three kids who were 'born awesome' (Annabelle-7, Sam-5, Andrew-2, plus baby #4 due in February).

Sarah Schall

Sarah was the Head Coach of the State College High School Girls’ Volleyball Team from 2003-2005. Her teams appeared in the PIAA Semifinals in 2004 and 2005. Sarah was also a standout player at Lock Haven University. She was named the PSAC Freshman of the Year and was a 3 time PSAC Player of the Year. Sarah played high school volleyball at Shippensburg High School. Sarah will be in charge of the administration of the club, finances, and scheduling of practices and tournaments. She will also be in the gym as much as possible to work with the players on the various teams. Sarah and her husband, Mike, have 3 beautiful children (Annabelle-7, Sam-5, and Andrew-2) plus baby #4 due in February.

Dan LaBonte

Dan has been coaching volleyball for the past 11 years at all levels. This is his 3rd season with us with the 18's team. Past teams he has coached have been ranked nationally by prepvolleyball.com. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the best high school players from Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Dan has had the pleasure of helping those athletes pursue their dreams of playing at the collegiate level. He has 23 former athletes currently competing in college (12 Division One, 6 Division Two & 5 Division Three). He coached current Revolution coaches, Jess Ritchey and Karey Toms. Dan also works at collegiate volleyball camps and clinics during the summer. Outside of volleyball, Dan works for the West Shore YMCA, Ja/Lex Realty in Shippensburg and can be found watching his nephews and nieces at their sporting events.

Jess Ritchey

Jess is a graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and Juniata College. Jess was a member of four Juniata teams that reached the national semifinals of the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship, including the Eagles' 2006 national championship team. She served as a co-captain during the 2008 season, when she played in 37 matches and was second on the team with 245 digs (2.06/set). Ritchey led the Eagles in 2008 with 35 service aces (0.29/set).

Kate Woffindin

Kate Woffindin coached for 3 years as an assistant coach at Villanova University. She helped lead the Wildcats to their third conference tournament appearance in five years and the third straight season with a winning record. Woffindin assisted the team in all areas of the game, including recruiting and on-court coaching. Prior to beginning her coaching career, Woffindin was a standout outside hitter at William & Mary. She earned second team All-Colonial Athletic Association recognition as a senior and was named to the CAA All-Tournament team that year as well. The Tribe posted a 22-9 record in 2005, including a 15-3 mark in conference matches. Kate is a 2006 graduate of William & Mary with degrees in Psychology and Kinesiology, Woffindin recently graduated from Villanova with a Master's degree in School Counseling. She also coached 2 years with PVA, once as an assistant for the 18's, and last year as the head coach for the 17's. Kate's 17's Team finished tied for 5th at JVDA in the club division.

Abby Leonard

Abby is back with us for the third year serving as the 16's head coach. She is currently the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at Shippensburg University. She was a four year letter winner and team captain at Division III National Power Juniata College. During Abby’s junior year, Juniata earned its first national championship. While at Juniata, Abby also served as the Assistant Coach with the Juniata College Men’s Team. She has worked numerous volleyball camps, including the Penn State Volleyball Camps, Juniata Volleyball Camps, Volleyball Express Camps, and the Shippensburg University Camps. In addition to her coaching duties, Abby is a teacher in the Big Spring School District.

Karey Toms

Karey was a member of the Shippensburg University volleyball team. Her freshman and sophomore years she played for Hagerstown Community College. She assisted Dan LaBonte with the Revolution 18's team in 2008 and was the Head Coach of the Revolution 15 Blue Team last season. She is a graduate of Waynesboro High School. During her freshman and sophomore years in high school she played for WAVE volleyball club and then finished her last two years with R & B Select located in York, PA. She was coached by Daniel LaBonte during her junior and senior year.

Julie Miller

Julie is a coaching veteran, having served on the staffs of Penn State, University of Houston, and William & Mary. Julie grew up in a coaching family as her father, Bob Miller, was the head boys and girls volleyball coach at North Allegheny High School and also serves as the President of the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association. Julie also coached last year with Nittany Juniors and is currently the Public Information Specialist for the State College Area School District.

Alyssa D'Errico

Alyssa is currently a junior libero for the Penn State Women's Volleyball Team. Alyssa has been an integral part of consecutive national championship teams. On the court, she is a terrific passer and defensive player who plays with great energy. As a club player, Alyssa played for one of the top club programs in the east, Volley FX, out of Rochester, NY. Off the court, Alyssa is a natural coach and enjoys working with young players of all ages.

Dale Flickinger

Dale Flickinger is entering his second year coaching with Revolution but he has great experience coaching at the highest level of club volleyball and also as a Division 1 Head Coach at Arizona State University. Dale spent a number of years coaching the Saddleback Volleyball Club in southern California where he tutored numerous future collegiate players. Dale and his wife Bev recently moved back to the State College area and we are excited that he is involved.

Jason Leppo

Jason is entering his second season with Revolution Volleyball Club after serving as the 17's coach in the 2008 season. Prior to Revolution, Jason spent 3 seasons with R&B Volleyball Club, one of Pennsylvania’s top clubs. Jason has coached the 15-1 Team for R&B for the last two years and qualified for nationals in each of those seasons. Jason has also been involved coaching high school volleyball, spending 2 years as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Chambersburg High School and one year at Big Spring. He just finished his second season as the JV Coach at Delone Catholic High School. On the court, he played for Spring Grove from 2000-2003 and helped direct the Shippensburg Men’s Club Team from 2003-2006.

Chad Mondorff

Chad has been coaching 7th and 8th grade volleyball for the past 9 years at Delone’s Deanery schools. Additionally the past two years he has been assisting with the Delone Volleyball program. Two years prior he was an assistant coach for the Susquehannock Volleyball program. In addition to the school teams, Chad has also coached 14 and unders for the past four years. This is Chad’s second year with Revolution VBC. Outside of volleyball, Chad is the Nursing Home Administrator for Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community in York. Chad spends his remaining free time with his family – Wife Jennifer, Daughter Allison (14) and Son Bryce (11).
